Here are the diffent steps to separate the chassis from the transmission.

Not much to say, pictures speak louder than words.

Checking that no screw was left behind.

Now the handbrake and fuel tank can be removed.

The "skateboard" has been removed, the chassis can be cut.

Now we can easily access everything, which brings its lot of bad surprises (namely rust, lots of it).

This needs replacement.

This can be cured.

This is nothing, plus we can see that the engine and gearbox do not leak.

This deserves to be binned but we'll fix it and keep it for now.

The front part had already been tampered with apparently.

This needs replacement too.

More rust ..
