One screw broke ..

Gearbox out.

Suspended engine.

Clutch.

Flywheel.

Front brakes removed.

Removed the engine from its cradle.

Front shocks, same state as the rears.

Steering rack and pump.

Hub removal.

ABS sensors, a real PITA to remove, apparently this is normal on Miatas.

Arise, all those who refuse to be slaves !

Much cleaning to do ..

Bolts and heat protection must go.

Rear cradle, also to be cleaned.

First layer of anti-rust primer after sandblasting ..

Some cleaned screws.

The hub removed, no way to take the ABS sensor out without destroying it, so we'll just protect it for now.

Second layer of anti-rust primer, the surface is now smooth.

Prepared triangles.

After two layers of paint on top of the two layers of primer.
